Ahtna Veterans Collection

The Ahtna Veterans Collection is comprised of materials describing the military experience of veterans from the Ahtna Dene communities of Cantwell, Chickaloon, Chistochina, Chitina, Copper Center, Gakona, Gulkana, Mentasta, and Tazlina. The individuals represented within the collection served in one of the five major branches of the United States military including the  Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Materials within the collection incliude documents, historical photographs, audio and visual recordings and souvenirs.
